Why should O-like mod their modules? What du you mean exactly? O-likes´ modules are often up-to-spec but dont have an IR filter. LPF= LaserPointerForums

what battery was used if it wasnt 3v?

You drive these modulse with 3.0V-4.2V. there are many 3.0 and 3.6 batterys avaible.

How do you tweak the beam with final lens, sounds interesting?

You can adjust the final lens with a simple screwdriver.

That depends where you live! In the USA it isnt legal as long as it isnt FDA approved.
Its also more likely that your package get confiscated by customs if you use expensive shipping .

ok, thanks heaps, yeah Im relatively new to forum so Im still getting used to it. again how can u adjust lens, im confused, do you have a picture or something, thanks!

Most green laser lenses are glued into place from the factory, you can use a flat blade screw to adjust the lens but I haven't been able to do that on my o-like modules without damaging them. Even machining special tools. Its not a good idea to adjust the lens on a stock green unless you're experienced.

Yes it seems to hard to turn with without applying much force so I gave up on adjusting it. The beam size isn't horrible in any way, it's just not amazing. It is only noticeable if you walk 40+ feet from the laser. Then the dot is about the size of a quarter.

Yeah I asked Susie to email me (3 weeks ago) and I haven't heard anything.


THESE DIODES ARE BACK IN STOCK!!!!!!!

I just realized this as I was checking their website, everyone order up so we can get more reviews on these as well as LPM testings. I hope yours arrive soon MISTERWILLING.

Edit: I just saw there is only one available. Hopefully MISTERWILLING's still arrive. One person can have this diode. Or maybe it's a typo.

i guess its not just susie who will resolve this.. USPS will be liable for the LOST ...

but the question is.. its it really lost?? or just USPS had an interest on it...

better contact USPS for that too.

USPS said that the issue can only be resolved by the sender and would not give me any more information on the package expect what I could look up in the tracking info.

It was odd, the package came into the usa when into a sort facility in Texas (where I live) ad then went to another sort facility in Chicago and was never scanned again after it left there. Both lasers were in the same package.

Now I am waiting on the Chinese holiday to be over to get this resolved. It kind of sucks I shelled out over $200 and so far I have nothing to show for it but all I can do is hope Susie can get it worked out for me.

I'd like to see the 200mw O'like modules when you get them.

Do you know the thread size for the lens assembly ?

I have used the Hi-Power lens on my 47 mw Rayfoss green,
with good focusing ability.

It burns thru white newsprint very quickly.
