I've plans to get a 300mW green portable laser this year (Hercules or RPL) but its not possible before october.

Thanks! I'll pass that compliment on to our graphics guy. He's a real pro and I've always been in awe of his ability to take my vague descriptions of a graphic that I need and turn it into something truly impactful and interesting.

We really, really wanted to put the X10DR in the bundle but unfortunately (or maybe not) the current demand has far surpassed all projections and we're totally sold out! I'm waiting on a new production batch of lenses and housings, so they should be back into stock soon. You can probably expect a Herc/X10DR bundle at Christmas if we can actually keep stock on hand for long enough, but this Hercules bundle is a real sweet deal even without the beam expander.

I have been using a Herc 300 in my lab for the past month. I use it in continuous mode for a couple of hours at a time, and it has been absolutely reliable. Mind you, it will burn through batteries when used this way, but NiMH or a wired psu are good options.

Be aware that this thing is BIG, at least compared to any of the pocket sized lasers out there. This is not a bad thing, since it makes alignment easy (I use a pair of V mounts) and it keeps one aware of where it is pointed (rifle vs handgun).
