Hey LPF! I am doing this 3-In-One build called The Trinity (link in description) and JohnyZ is making me a custom driver to power the red, blue, and green diodes/module and he needs to know how much current the ir diode in the new O-Like 200mW green module so he can make the driver for the green module. On O-Like's website it says that the working current is 600ma, but I just want to check with you guys to see if anybody knows...
Welcome to O-like,the source of good quality laser products at unbeatable price and perfect service !

So just to check, I need to know how much current comes from the driver when it is about to go to the diode. Help would be really appreciated and if anybody would volunteer to desolder the driver from the diode, hook it up to their test load and measure the current using 3 diodes on the test load that would be great! P.s. if you do take apart your driver to check the current I would like you to be an experienced "laser surgeon" so you don't break your expensive module... also you can resolder the diode and driver back together after you test the current and your module will still work fine. :) You all have a nice day...

The current should be around 600 mA. The best way to make sure is to measure the modules current draw before taking the driver board off. Some current is lost in the driver, but this is usually neglible.

I was running it with an 18650 battery in a Jayrob SS 18650 Kit and it was working fine! :)

Edit: In the Trinity build I'm using a custom 3-In-One driver that JohnyZ designed for me and I'm running it off 4 14650 batteries in parallel... check my signature for link :D
