In my pursuit to disassemble my laser I put a little scratch on what seems to be a plastic lens. doh!
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows of a place that I can find a glass lens that is 6mm in diameter with a 20mm focal length that's AR coated for 532nm.

Cheers,
Grant.

What laser is it?

You can try digital cameras.
That's where I found a replacement for the lens on my X-series.

They aren't AR coated for 532, but they are AR coated. They should work just as well. And if the original lens was plastic, then an AR coated glass lens would be a big improvement.

i fixed it, instead of looking for the exact lense i found a nice glass lens from some old microscope optics that i could just slide right over the pen. it has a little longer focal length, so the beam is a little wider coming out of the colimator but i can adjust the focus to a nice tight spot at a distance.

its pretty big, but i only use it for pointing in the sky, so i dont mind  ;D

i think novalasers actually has a 6mm plano-convex lens lol

Yeah they do, but why pay for one when you can have fun ripping up a digital camera? Besides, they have all other kinds of neat things inside. ;D

Well, if you take apart a camera there's no guarantee that any of the lenses will work, but one of them probably will. The camera I used was already broken so it wasn't a loss.
The one on NOVA's site is 6mm with a 30mm focal point.

Edmund optics has lenses. Off the shelf AR coated. VIS 0 is what you want. A VIS 0 lens will have less than 0.5% reflection from both surfaces @ 532nm.
Go to their website or give them a call and ask for a free catalog. Single lenses are called singlets That's were I buy mine.
If you can fit a 9mm lens in there get one you'll find that it is easier to place. And use gloves, better yet use tweezers plastic is better too avoid finger prints.
I use Bond 527 adhesive because it provides permanent adhesion, but is easy to remove if need be.
