i dont have a lot of money to spend, probably less than $70. and i want to get a laser from rayfoss. there are a couple i'm looking at but don't know which to get. can someone help me with this? right now i'm leaning towards the first link.

also, i cant tell a difference between the second and third one beside color and $3 price difference. the only reason i'm wondering which to get is because the first seems awfully cheap compared to others with the same output.

The one that costs more looks to be made out of aluminum or some metal alloy whereas the black one looks like some kind of plastic....go for the first one if you don't mind the LEDs....

why do you think the one with LEDs is only $4 more? considering it has the LEDs and 50mW more than the pen ones. Will its output actually be 150mW? And i can't really tell, but do you think the one with LEDs is metal? And one (or two) more questions: What is the silver piece that screws on the end? and if you look in the specs for the $58 one, it says its beam type is CW, while the one with LEDs says CW with <1.5mrad divergence. I know less divergence the better, so does that mean the one with LEDs will have greater or less divergence than the $58 one?

I am not sure about the divergence question....you would be best served to email Faona and just ask her what you just asked me....as for the silver thing...well, just email Faona about that as well....she is VERY prompt with emails and will get back to you quickly.
