Well, it's not new any more, but I'd say it's all right. I'm going to try with some Ni-MH batteries as soon as their done charging. Get some more power perhaps, we'll see how it goes.
Oh, there two reasons why the blu-ray looks so bright: My camera can see the violet beam very well and it's the closest to the camera. If you look at the picture, you'll see that it's the x125 that lights up the whole room.

And most important thing, you will not believe your eyes when you use the Mega Matrix, it is the most beautiful view i have ever seen in mylife...

I 2nd that, I had my brand new X-175 do the same thing, now that they have it back, they want a whole week just to test/look at it before they tell me what they are going to do for me. :'(

Igor had the same problem with same laser. I dont understand whats happening.

By the way i also suggest you buy one Mega Matrix.

Yea I received a message from them today stating they received my rma laser back today, but they need a whole week to look at it, this was my first purchase from them and could very well be my last one too, I might also decide to ask for the 7 day refund guarantee, I shouldn't have to go through this crap for a $500.00+ Laser, total bull.
Anyhow what is a "Mega Matrix" ?

I dont have a laser check also, if yours is X125 you can try to light a match, if it does it in 2-3 seconds it is ok.
Or you compare with another laser if you have.
And i suggest you buy Mega Matrix.

Well, actually, my laser got better.. It did start acting weird after i used it on and off for like half an hour at one time. After cooling down it wouldn't even reach it's rated power on fresh batteries.
But the next day it started peaking back to 174mW or more and again spent most of the time around 168mW.
But the weird thing is, that right now it is actually even better than it was when i got it. It used to have a sharp drop to 135mW after 35-40 seconds (since Nova's test is 30 seconds it would still classify as 168mW average), but right now it can stay above 160 for 70 seconds! In fact it climbs above 170mW towards the end of the minute! I now only see that sharp drop after 70 seconds, and if it continues like this, i'm gonna like it even more.
These pens really are high quality lasers. If i hold a DX200 and the "X-"150 side by side, i can't believe how ugly the DX200 is. Not to mention how many problems it has. And the beam from a DX200 just looks dull side by side with a CNI pen.
They may cost more, but i think they are worth it. No company can make a perfect product every time, especially when there are so many variables, where something can go wrong. But since you guys bought from Nova, they will take care of you.
