hey guys i wanna keep this simple. basically i got my o-like 120+ mW module and heres what i used
radioshack 2 AAA enclosed battery holder
1 push on-push off switch
o-like module.
i bypassed the switch using a wire connecting the two contacts
put the negative from the battery to where the spring was on the module.
ran a wire from one contact on the switch to the casing of the module.
ran the battery positive wire to the other switch contact.
thats basically it, i put a black felt over the whole thing. these are perfect for airsoft guns, ive given a few 5 mW builds just like this to my friends for their airsoft and its just perfect size, basically take two AAA batteries and put them side by side and thats the size of this thing.
let me know your thoughts
thanks

cool cool! Are you going to use this guy for airsoft as well? Your friends will be needing some laser protection goggles instead of airsoft glasses! lol

heh you should go to the BST section and buy one of my hosts, they are the perfect size for the module too, all you'd do is slide it into the host and tighten the set screw and it's done!

I built a 100 mW O-like green into a dead pointer. It reads 170 mW !!! Be careful with them -- some are HOT.

thanks man but i already have a brand new pen host from a DX 5 mW and it fits perfectly. i think im gonna keep this cause my switch is push on- push off not just a momentary. but in the future possibly..
