i found this listing through the deals and discounts section of the forum
Wicked E2 Evolution Series 5mW 532nm Green Laser Free Shipping | eBay
i like the host and for $20 shipped i figured it was a deal.
I was very surprised when after putting in the batteries I found the laser was working and putting out 65mW!

No problems with it? The description said they were rejected but you must have gotten lucky. I'm tempted to get it for a host and seeing if I get lucky too. If not the host is worth it for 20

What did you offer him? I lowballed and he took it. But barely put out any light and the outside lens had a scratch, which is fine since I only bought it for the host.

@Tmack, it should have a decent duty cycle, It's bigger than it looks and has fairly thick walls.

i just paid the $20, didn't think of making an offer....
no trouble with it at all, it works great. i'll probably leave it as is, maybe pick up another to use as a host

I'm not sure how well a momentary switch would go with a high-power build - but thats just personal opinion I guess.

I'm it has its benefits for safety. If you aren't able to hold that button, it doesn't need to be on.

That host would be perfect for a 520nm, besides, you need a 520.
