my <5mw defective after frozen shiping

my <5mw silver from NOVA was frozen durring shipping.  When it arrived via Airmail (to Illinois) it was so cold I could hardly touch it.  I let it warm before putting batteries in, but it now malfunctions by first putting out a VERY dim beam, then brightening up a bit, then dimming again, and so on. I got it up to be properly bright once or twice, but it seems to have big problems.  I contacted NOVA but havent heard back yet(since i did so today) and will try to see what happened.   I just will advise people here....DO NOT ORDER LASERS via AIRMAIL Durring the WINTER!!! :'(

I ordered my x105 last week, shipped over airmail, and the thing is bright as hell, no problems. Maybe the laser just isn't as bright as you were expecting?

The cold does strange things with my lasers too after shipping. But they should be ok after warming up abit unless it was really frozen. Another reason to insulate lasers before shipping during the winter period.

5mw is actually quite bright. Enough to impress if it is your first green laser. But I really believe this guy's beam is dim.
