If you send a special request, they (LaserGlow) sometimes have a very overspec model available, the one now is nearly 1W, I can't seem to remember the owner of LaserGlow's name for some reason, but he is a member here.

At the moment we have a Hercules peaking over 900 mW with an average of >800 mW. This is the most powerful green handheld on the planet, and it's well over the one that we sent to Guinness to win the world record. We beat our own record and it's not even a year old!

That is powerful, but the Optotronics RPL 450 is powerful as well, over 500mW. I noticed the Laser glow unit has a diode life of 6000 hrs! That is not very long. The Optotronics is 80,000hrs = Awesome. Also Opto has a 1yr warranty, extendable to 18 months. I am very pleased with mine.

Hmmmm...

Well, if I used my laser for an hour a day (waaaaaaaay more than I actually would), every day of the year, it would take over 16 YEARS to use up the 6000 hrs.

....That seems like a fairly long life span to me.

Just my $.02...:D

Yeah I can relate to that, I was just making a point that the Opto laser has a much better heat sink and possibly better laser components. I am sure the Laserglow is nice, but it is Soooo long, hard to take it anywhere.

I just got an RPL 450 that's a member of the Class IV club. These things are nothing to sneeze at!

Pics and video coming soon I promise!

As for most powerful green well you can modify an RPL/PGL fairly easily into a 2W+ monster. If you wear IR goggles it will be green! Cheating perhaps but here you go!
