Alex, did you meter the output yet? I'm sure you must have, but I was wondering what it came out to be. I'm very happy for you. :D

I didn't as my Laserbee A can't measure up to these powers but the previous owner had a peak of 2.8W's! :eek:

Indeed! At first when using it, I started to smell some burning odor and thought the laser was starting to heat up. Upon observing the white wall where it was aimed at there was a black dot and I thought "oh wow" haha. :beer: Aluminum is now in it's place!

I remember when I first used a M140. I thought, only twice the power of my WL arctic, I'll just have half as long against my backdrop. Nope, near instant burn. :D You might want to get yourself a proper beam stop/dump. :p Enjoy! I know how bright 800mW is, I can't imagine yours.
