The classic (LZCS) is a more robust design. You can use two battery types, and there are keys for safety.

The LZMN is more of a pocket pointer, small, and you don't have to keep pressing a button to keep it on.

I've owned several of each of these designs... for a 30mW, my preference is the LZMN.

Okay thank you so much! Should I also buy the charger with it for an additional 5 dollars?

I would get batteries and charger from lighthound.com instead. You'll pay more, but get better quality.

I am hoping to keep it around 50 dollars or lower if possible, I am a noob when it comes to this stuff I apologize. Which AW battery do you think is best and reasonably priced? Link?

I wish I had the money for those!
That is just a little to much for me. I would buy the battery but the charger is to much for me. Hmmmm, how bad would it be just to buy the 5 dollar charger and battery?

You should be ok for this laser. When you move up to more serious ones, you'll need better batteries and chargers.
