Has anyone LPM tested their 200mW Green Rayfoss laser? I looked in the reviews but they all were (or seemed) underspec. They claim to be 180 to 220 mW. Does anyone know what the modules used in these lasers look like? The O-like 200mW Green Module based on two reviews is only about 160 average and cost $135. For $145 I could just buy a whole Rayfoss laser, which I might do if it actually puts out 180+ mW. Thanks.

If I was selling Lasers to the public... and I was selling a "200mW Laser"
I would sell it as a 190mW laser and have all my customs be happy with
their purchase from me... similar to what O-Like does...
I have never received a laser from O-Like... underspec...

Lasersbee: Did you see Kendall's O-like 200mW module? It only maxed at 174mW and averaged 145mW's. It might have just been a mistake because underspec diodes are made. Guess we will just have to wait for MISTERWILLING's two diode reviews.

The other part of buying lasers is to communicate with the seller before
the purchase....

If the seller says a laser is labeled as <200mW... then 100mW would still
be honest... it is less than 200mW..

We have a misconception and tend to think/believe that a laser Labeled as
<200mW should be 200mW... but that is not what the label indicates....

We know by experience that the <200mW Red Dilda Laser from DX was anywhere
from 135mW to 180mW with the supplied batteries...

Therefore the <200mW laser from O-Like is stil "in spec" idf it is
less than 200mW...

Yes I see now that the O-like 200mW is actualy rated at 175-200mW. Still if I was kendall I would try to send that one back. Seems too low.

I've been emailing Faona about the 180-200mW non-focusable green. I just put in an order and if it gets here and if I can find someone at A&M willing to let me use their LPM I'll do a little review. I asked her about the average power from that laser and she said it is typically around 175mW I think. If everything turns out like it's supposed to it should end up being a good deal for the price.

Anything new andrewch783? I'm wish I could change the title to "LPM Rayfoss Tested Lasers". I haven't seen any high powered Rayfoss lasers (150mW+) perform well in an LPM Test. Their high powered lasers seem to be like those from a typical Chinese wholesale laser website.

One of my friends should be bringing the laser to me today and my physics prof gave me a couple people to ask. I'll send one of them an email and see if they have one I could use.
