Looking for a Green laser with a good beam.

I have two lasers so far one is a 5mW green ebayser and a 30mW from FocalPrice they arrived good but I would now want a laser with a good beam I could see in a lit room.

If anyone knows of a good laser that has a good beam in a lit room I'm not interested in burning matches but popping a balloon is always cool :) but I'm just into the beam I only got about 17$ with a birthday card still on my paypal so thats all I have to spend but I could try to put a few more dollars into it somehow so I might spend about 25$ Thanks guys :thanks:

I suggest using the 30mW you have with the aid from a fog machine from your local party store to be able to see the beam in a lit room. I have the RPL 425 and it has a good beam, however with no smoke in the room, the beam is visible but not dramatic in a lit room in the daytime. So your 30mW will look like a 150mW with some fog in the room. It will not harm you though and dissapates pretty quick. Otherwise if a fog machine is useless to you, light a few candles.

Thanks Emc I've done it with the steam of the cooked food it's pretty cool. I would like a laser to be visible in a lit environment what's a good mW average to be able to do this without any smoke somethin a little less than 150 maybe a 100? Or a 75 oh well I'll just have to look around thanks though

Ok here is the deal. I shot this video of two of my lasers from Optotronics. The pen style laser is the +150mW and the RPL 425 which has an average output of 441mW with some peaks around over 500mW. There is no smoke in my home right now at all and the beams are slightly visible. You need a smokey invironment to see the beams well. If I did this same video in NASA's clean room, the beam would not be visible at all. As you can see these are two strong lasers seen in a well lit room and the beams are slightly vivible.

Wow, Thanks Emc your Rpl is a beast! I know what I'm gonna get now I'll go for a 175mW thats pretty good I bet your Rpl can go for miles in the dark that thing is awesome thanks for the help
