Which lens determines beam width in green DPSS?

Is it the the focusing lens between the diode and the crystal set or the expanding lens between the crystal set and the collimating lens? I put the expanding lens from a dead new wish pen that had a wide beam with great divergence in my Lazerer Classic 150 that has a really thin ( <1mm ) beam to try and improve divergence, but nothing changed. First time working with epoxy BTW. Nailed it. The beam comes out at a perfect angle.

The expanding telescope at the end determines beam size. Shorter focal length on the concave, or longer focal length on the convex will both make a larger beam.

Thanks! I added a second expanding lens. It worked! I'm posting it in the experiments/modifications section.
