Hey guys, got a few concerns about a laser I purchased from Lazerer.com a week ago. Yes it will be my first laser, so that will dub me a rookie around here, but I would really appreciate some positive feedback.
My concern is centered around a review of my laser I found here Cyber 100mw from Lazerer - YouTube
The video shows a very weak dot, slow to burn match, and almost no beam in a dark room:(. I do consider it having a weak battery, possibly the camera doesnt pick up the beam, or a problem with IR.. And I know that I cant base my opinion on one review, but its the only one I have found.
Other than my beam concern, I am very pleased with Max and how smooth he has expedited my order and treated me with the best customer service.:thanks:
Do I shrug off the review as some idiot without a quality camera?
What exactly should I expect from this laser?
I apologize to anyone who is tired of seeing questions like this, but I belive the point to these forums is to spread knowledge and skill so others can learn to enjoy this unique hobby:)

"It's a lot brighter in person, and I didn't fog up the bathrooms like most people do, and the camera quality kinda sucks too. You may be surprised.", "It tops out at 113mW", those quotes coming from the description and comments; It also seems like he couldn't quite hold the match still, or in the right spot. How fast your match lights depends on how focused your laser is, and how steady your hand is (among other things) So, it has a pretty good chance of being brighter, since he said his camera isn't of good quality, and with a little practice you should be able to light matches faster than shown in the video. My guess is since he just got the laser, he isn't use to focusing it.

Expect it to burn black plastics, pop darker colored balloons, and light matches.

I just got the lxbh from them and if yours is anything like mine you will be impressed. hte beam in videos and pictures i try and take is NOTHING compared to the real thing, it looks weak. mine lights matches in less then asecond, and pops ballons fast, heres videos of those 2 things, i dont know if your beam is focusable o rnot but if it is it shud burn as good as mine, the power cirtificate on mine says 110.

Thanks for the reassurance. The quoted comments were his response to my questions on his youtube feed haha.. Yes its focusable, ordered the power certification too so Im sure it should be just over 100mW. Thanks for the video links!

Received my laser today. Exactly 7 days after emailing max to check on my processing order. 7 days from china to US? Very pleased! Its 12 noon, rainy and foggy out.. no visible beam.. certified 105mW with 7mW IR. Gunna make sure battery is fully charged and see what it does when it gets dark.. hope its better than what I see so far..

I had just purchased this laser today. I'm aware living in the u.s shipping is going to be a nightmare, but my question is when you bought this laser did it come with a battery and a charger. Did you have to pay extra? I paid around 70 after shipping I'm just wondering if I should buy another battery
