I've heard that LaserGlow used to sell the "Pyxis" series, which was supposed to be the same as NOVAlasers' "Alpha" series (CNI's "PGL-III-A" model). However, I checked LaserGlow's website at the Internet Archive and found no mention of this "Pyxis" laser. Did LaserGlow ever sell such a model?

Yes, Laserglow did sell the "Pyxis" (before my time) and it is basically the same as the Novalasers Alpha, although I think there's been some performance improvements over the years. Power stability and runtime will be better on an Aries but the Alpha has a push-button switch which is sometimes useful.
