If the quality of your dot was noticeably cut off or it wasnt round, then you would have something to worry about. It sounds to me like you just have it coming out at a slight angle, but that its still clearing the aperture, so you have nothing to worry about!

The laser. Like if my beam is more angled than others

It just means that the optical system in your laser is decentered by a few microns.

You'll have to pay thousands of dollars to purchase a green laser that will have the beam exit the aperture perfectly parallel with the body of the laser.

If I set it on a level surface and shine the laser at a wall 20 feet away it apears to rise about 6 inches from where the laser starts

As I said before, if the laser is 20 feet from a wall the beam will rise 3-4 inches from the original position. Is this bad?

it would bug me if i bought a "good" low power green at that price if the beam came out at a noticeable angle. you paid a premium for workmanship.
