sry for bothering again but i ditched all my plans for various reasons and will only stick to a new pen stlye laser. does sb. recently own this model? i found a 4y-old review on lpf, but is the build quality still good as CNI-GLPs?

...everything is fine. i got my answer from kevin. i ordered the white(1,5$ xtra charge) 150mW with IR filter(1,5$ xtra charge) with Hong Post (to germany) who -is it only a rumor?- transport their parcels via rowboats across the ocean...

counting the weeks from now on.........and hoping to get my spent 67€ in 2013....

For my most recent order from laserbtb I used the standard shipping option (Hongkong Post) and recieved my laser within 7 days (6 actually if I remember right). The HL 520 50mW is very nice. ;)

This was to California not Germany of course but I hope and expect you will not have to wait too long. :)

good news! i received it :san:

ordered on 15.11 and delivered directly to me on 3.12

the only thing i dont like is the switch which feels cheap and the power-on led.:mad:
it changes brightness when on and seem to interfere with the laser brightness itself. any explanation for that?

i want to upload the pics higher than 800x600. how?

Um id contact LaserBtb or offroadfreak in the GB listed above. you might be able to return that laser and get a HL series or a replacement LP

...of course they are better, the are also alot more expensive. for my needs a laserpen is the perfect choice. and whats wrong with laserpens? my old wicked lasers is superb chinese built quality and shows how it is done. just f-ing annoying.

anyway i contacted laserbtb, awaiting a reply...

HL is ~$20 more than a LP and is 5x the laser. Also if you find an old WL to be quality then im sorry but you dont know what quality is. LaserBtb is 10x the quality of WL and it sounds like you jsut got a bad laser. The box looks beat to heck by the shipping company so im almost 100% sure it was damaged during shipping. My HL is the best quality from a Chinese company. Only thing better than a LaserBtb is a hand built laser

WL sells nice hosts with great promotional tactics but the quality is horrible, especially on the older ones

and btw the box wasnt beaten to heck, it is just crappy packaging using 2 little boxes.

Bahahaha that's funny bud. I am far from a LaserBtb fan boy. To tell you the truth I HATE buying lasers from companies, I'd rather build them myself and buy parts from members here when possible. The fact that you said that cracks me up beyond belief so thanks for a good laugh. You can't argue with the fact that LaserBtb has one of the best lasers for a chinese seller and kevin provides the best service for his customer, eapecially if he knows you are a LPF member. They also have great group buys to provide evenlower prices on good lasers. Name another company that doea that................waiting...............CNI you say? Oh great those are only one high end expensive and exotic WL so nope. I would love to buy a CNI yellow or 473nm but ddon't want to drop $500 on a laser. $300 on my Mag build is enough and I built it. I've built almost every laser in my collection minus my LassrrBtb 532 and the 520 I'm buying now. I've sold most of them to finanve other things but atleast I built them. Good day uninformed sir

ok, since nobody else is interested in this thread i wanne make sth clear 2u:

1. dont just advice me to buy a better hl or pl after i received it in my hands. this is nonsense in this thread. consider that i made my thoughts about them but eventually went for that pen.

2. iam not judging laserbtb nor wicked quality or selling tactics. but iam holding both pens in my hands and definitely can tell which switch! build quality is better. i asked this several times here and didnt get even a roper answer from those who own it... now i know.

for sb skillful enough to build his own lasers, u could have written sth. more helpful...

never mind...
