So... finnaly, which laser do you think is brighter or powerful to burn too: the laser that Shadowtek recommend or the laser of DX which i linked?

Ask when you can. :)

THANKS!!!! all of you are very helpful!:thanks::thanks::gh:

Go with o-like you won't regret it.If you even regret it they will replace it with satisfying one.
You can also consider rayfoss too. Both are good companies for cheap lasers.
As brightness and visibility of beam will be same or nearly same that you won't recognize the difference.

But which are the "pros" of the o-like in front of the DX?

I know this of DX:

It has a little bit more than 50mW and maybe it reaches 100mW
It has security key
It has "star effects"
It is cheaper
It has guarantee and if you are not satisfied, you can get your money back.

And this of the o-like one:
It has 50mW
It is more expensive
It has guarantee and if you are not satisfied, you can get your money back.

I know i am very indecisive, but i like thinking too much before buying anything in order no to regret it... xD

I repeat, thanks for your help!

I would choose rayfoss or o-like.Cons of o-like and rayfoss are reputable company and great customer service and also mostly overspecced lasers 50mw+

If I was going to buy a cheap 532nm laser right now, I'd buy this:
$33.80 - SD-301 Focusable 100mW 532nm Green Laser Pen Pointer with Battery Set (1*18650) - Green Lasers

Because it's cheap, it will *probably* be at least 50mW, and I love the host.

But it's a CRAP SHOOT with such inexpensive cheap Chinese 532nm lasers. You don't know what you're actually going to get, so it's really tough to actually have any sort of logical debate about better vs. worse, because you're not comparing constants. I've always had good experiences with DX. While I like o-like too, I've always found their shipping delays to be worse than DXs. Other people may have completely opposite experiences. Go with your gut on this one.

LOL, i continue searching and searching and i´ve found this one too:

$28.80 - 200mW 532nm Green Laser Pen (2*AAA) - Green Lasers

It´s a 200mW laser, and people in the reviews say that it is extremely bright. I dont know if i should trust in this laser or not. People say that it is very very cheaper and i am confused :S xD

Which would you choose between the SD 301 and this one if you are going to buy a new one?

Thanks Xd

Just buy a laser already... ANY of these laser will be fine for a 1st one.
Read the review section of the forum, there's plenty information to be help make your decision.
Or just buy one on DX that is very popular and has many positive reviews.

I don't think you're listening to what we're saying....

For a $30 - $40 laser, just buy one. The best you can do is try to buy from a company that isn't a complete rip off artist. Neither DX, nor O-Like, nor Rayfoss are. So pick one that looks attractive to you, and BUY IT. You're talking about lasers that will probably all be more or less the same in terms of how happy you end up.

Well i think i´ll buy this one: $47.39 - 200mW Green Laser Pointer Pen Black - Green Lasers

I´ve seen a video of it, and, i know that not all of them are equal, but i think this is the best for me even it seems to be too thin (i dont know if that is important or not) :S. It should have more than 100mW and its line beam is very bright at night.

It hasn´t IR filter so... can it be very dangerous for my eyes?
Thanks!

YES. With or without the filter. I don't know if you'll get a good one or not, but anything above 5mW has the potential to damage your eyes. Just don't go pointing it around indoors or burning and you'll be fine. ;)

ok, so, if i watch the dot of the beam but no for so long, my eyes won´t be affected?

If the answer is YES, i´ll feel better xD

Thanks for the information :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

You can look at the beam for as long as you want; it won't cause any damage. You don't want to look at the dot at all, unless it's really far away (like 20+ feet).

Lol, I actually mis-interpreted that comment at first..

You can look at the beam FROM THE SIDE for as long as you want :)

(remember, there are idiots out there - not necessarily in this thread, but certainly out on the internet READING this thread!)

Okay everyone just to clarify, the beam is the long line that you see in the air, the dot is at the end of the beam. Don't make the beam go into your eye.

Clear enough? :D
