A word of warning for rayfoss lasers. The higher power ones with prices to good to be true.. they are not ir filtered. The 600mw is mabe half ir light.

Yeah.. i have a 250mw filtered toplaser e1 from laserpointerpen.net and it puts out 275 green, 50 ir.

None of the available lasers will shut off for you, you will have to remember to shut down, or there will be few over duty cycle runs before it will not go near full power, if it stays working at all. Mind the duty cycle, and have it work much longer. Best of luck! -Glenn

I call BS on that quote....
My Rayfoss 500mW shipped today. Before posting it Faona had it tested for me it was 518mW with an IR filter.
You can state your opinion in these boards but do NOT misrepresent them as facts.

If you want a laser just for burning dark coloured stuff just go for a <$50 Dilda red. Either the V1 or V2 are great burners for silly money.
If you want beam, go for green. Rayfoss accept PP without problem. simply stick your order in and Faona will mail you the payment details. The 200mW ones are about $150, maybe cheaper than when I bought mine. The focusable ones also burn well.

really jerry? wow ty for that info u totally changed my mind xD now im thinkin bout rayfoss... ill defenetly look on there site. what you said about the 200mw lasers being around 150 bucks really caught my attention... ill look into it
