get a CNI! it costs more than a DX30 but you will be happy with a lifelong reliability

I strongly doubt that.

"what is the best green laser that u can buy for about $100 that can burn things easily?"-> Go O-like. http://www.o-like.com/b2b_cpinfo.asp?id=930

"nd that sells to the US, because i know some wont"-> Only DX doesn't said on the forums 100000 times.

"and btw can the laser pop balloons even if there is no black on it? and can it burn paper?" burning white paper is not posible at this price. About the balloons, depend on the balloon color. The darker the best.

umm all u showed was a site

All you asked for was a laser that can burn stuff for under $100, did you expect that I would see your post and straight away go " OH ! this guy seems nice, lets just send him a free laser " , what was I supposed to do other than give you a site ?

Gee whiz dudes....what about Optotronics? You never mention them, I usually have to do it. You all recomend the companies located in China. Spend the $$$ here in the USA. CNI, Deal Xtreme.... Laser probably will not pass through customs. You get what you pay for. A friend bought a 50mW green laser off of Amazon, a week later is looses its output. The laser costs about $36.00 (el-cheapo). If you want a good laser then you have to pay more for it. Quality not quantity.

Depends if you build or buy. For $100 you can rig a blu ray with an 803 diode that will 'burn' white paper if focussed thighly. Little chance of setting it on fire, but you can sure burn a hole trough.

CNI manufacture for LaserGlow and NOVA, two great companies. The lasers are still from China. Optotronics lasers are also manufactured in China by Viasho. CNI is recognized as one of *the* best laser manufacturers out there, and Viasho is also recognized as one of the best.

He wants a green laser though :(

Yeah ok but my point is the lasers are already here in the US and you get it faster without customs taking it from you. two days VS almost two weeks....which will you rather have? It appears that Viasho only has 2 years experience researching the lasers, that is not very long unless they are quick learners, or an old webpage. http://www.made-in-china.com/import...ofile1/Beijing-Viasho-Technology-Co-Ltd-.html

I'd rather wait 2 weeks. It would cost less direct from the manufacturer.

Also, lots of people here have been mentioning Optotronics since long before you were here, so don't say we don't mention opto, but this guy is looking for something under $100 that can burn paper, and pop unmarked balloons. Your not gonna find that kinda power for under $100 from Optotronics. No point in mentioning them if they can't provide what the OP is looking for,

Mainly, I never mention them because dealextreme lasers until 50mW work great, for 1/10 the price. I completly disagree about the "you get what you pay for" with lasers under 50mW. What can you say about the dilda. get a 200mW from optotronics and get the dilda Suse sells. Now compare prices. Now note that the output is just about the same. Then you realize you just wasted your money buying optotrnics.

They are of course the best options for 100mW+ green lasers, but under here, forget about them. IMO ofc
