did you notice on the bottom of the screen on the link to your laser this pic
click on 4000mW and it says 400
3000mW and it says 300
2000mW and it says 200 ....... and so on

imma just hope its better than my current non-focusable laser <P (bout 90mw of power)
i did find two vids that may be closely related to this laser:

hope this ones gonna be stronger <D
(on a funny note the dream1988 says this laser can burn matches within 2 seconds~ >.<)

It won't be anywhere near 1000mw. You'll be lucky if it's 100mw 532 with massive amounts of IR.

if the ir adds burning power, then that's a bonus correct ;D

IR is a bit more dangerous since Our eyes don't see the IR, so that you could take a hit even wearing glasses for 532nm and still have damage. IR is no joke to play around with, and if you want to experiment with it get glasses that cover the IR range as well as green.

just a quick question~
i seen on the internet about diy goggles that block green or red or blue lasers online mainly using gel sheets(?) [Congo blue or Primary Red sound familiar?) to block out the laser. would there be a IR blocking "gel sheet(s)" i would be able to purchase to attach to a pair of cheap 532nm blocking goggles to make the goggles about to block both green + ir?

DIY laser goggles seem about as smart as DIY bullet proof vests :tsk:
you need to figure goggle costs into the cost of buying any laser.

Or you could glue an IR filter onto your laser so you'd only have to worry about filtering out green with goggles.
