This one was very reasonable. $120.00 plus the host, which he had been saving for awhile. Can't get much cheaper than that.

I didn't know they were that cheap? Where does the $120 figure come from?
I remember on the build I used to own it had cost me $300+. Also doesn't help that shipping to Canada is more expensive, and exchange rate isn't ideal. :undecided:

He bought the driver and diode combination from Grix for that. So, after he got it he only needed to place it in a host. Not bad, huh?

Yeah been wanting a big green for a while...got a PL515 from a group buy a while ago..bought what for WL only...this one is just for powarrrr

Well, pretty good! User joeybab3 got a supplier who had them listed for $300. One is currently being sent to paul for testing so we won't know until then if these are true 488 diodes.
However, for $900 there are also these. Much better then a few $k's. Link below:
