IR Filter for 30mW Green Laser?

Hi! I'm new to the whole laser scene and I just bought a very nice DX 30mW Laser, The kaleidoscope one, but to my grave suprise, there is no IR filter for this Laser.
Its a 30 mW (many say not TRUE 30)
and its 532 nm
I was hoping someone could direct me into the right direction for an IR filter for it. I WAS thinking of putting like some old Film or buying some IR gel, (If I can ever find any) and cutting a little circle for to tape over the end or something. I would really appreciate someone's help on this because I REALLY look forward to enjoying and showing off my Bran New Laser.
THANKS!  :)

You dont need an IR filter , the IR output is probably only 5-10mW, so your perfectly safe, just be careful with the actual green beam though :p

Like Diachi said, you really don't need to worry about the IR from the laser, just be careful with the green.

Also, just a note, old film doesn't block IR light, it blocks visible light and lets IR through so it wouldn't work on the end of your laser.
