info on this laser?

Hey everyone... I have my eye on this laser and I was wandering if its worth spending my money on it...
can it pop balloons from 5 feet away?
I'm referring to this... w w w . dealextreme dot com /details.dx/sku.1257

no it will not you need a laser thats 50+ mw to pop a balloon at that level or even 30 mw lasers can not pop/ melt anything even if its right up against the object.

really i saw a vid on DX
it was "true 30mW" and it popped a baloon

I belive you as the power differ from laser to laser. I have had 8 diffrent dx 30s 2 light matches (one unaided ) 2 others (not including the match lighters) poped balloons 2 had issues and 2 were just lasers. DX lasers are a gamble unless you buy 5 and keep the good ones then sell the others to friends. Thats a guarenteed win
