Best suggestion? Clean lens with a Q-tip and compressed air to see if it improves. If you can't remove the lens you can only clean one side of it and that'll be the best you can do. Most lasers have some, 'splash'. To what degree is a matter of quality and clean, unscratched optics.

Well, you don't have many other options. If you can't notice any difference with just a Q-tip it is unlikely solvents or cleaning fluids will improve further. If you have eyeglass cleaner to hand you can try that on a Q-tip also but like I said, most lasers have some, 'splash', and you will just have to get used to it or buy a better quality laser.

Use 91% isopropanol on a q-tip, moving in small circles. Then use another q-tip to dry by dabbing. It works for me but you may have to repeat multiple times, using new q-tips each time.

^ True enough, but I get the feeling isopropanol wasn't going to be something to hand for this member. A dry Q-tip normally, (but not always), changes the fuzziness to at least prompt going out to buy a more specialised product. It seems on this occasion a dry Q-tip did nothing at all. We'll wait and see on this one...
