So I have received my laser. Very cool. Shall I post pictures? Sure why not.

It has lit the cigarette! (I don't smoke, just thought I would bust the myth...myth true!)

u have just got an absolutely awesome laser :)
u can now try all those laser experiments which have been looming around in your mind for quiet some time.
do u mind sharing the output specs? i think the 225 i had averaged 238mw.

The average output power is 248mW. Jack said it peaked at 255mW.

Man that is one nice laser! By any chance do you know if the extra 2.5% "Banned from LC" discount is still in effect?

Didn't mention. However, there is a 1.5% for using google checkout.

I just stayed clear from WL & LC. ;)

the beam visibilty on the RPL's are insane even on a clear night with ambient lighting - imagine what it would like in deep fog :cool:
try not to shine down ur street it catches alot of attention. only time i shine out of my window sometimes is after 2am, the whole street is sleeping, not a single noise or sight of people/traffic.
other than that i have to travel atleast 10-20 miles to the countryside to get the best out of my lasers.
get some more pics/vids up.

I usually go out on the balcony and shine my lasers around after midnight. Everyone is sleeping so it doesn't attract too much attention.

I just shine my lasers around at any time of night, i live in a close so most of the neighbors know it me ;D ;D ;D Nice laser man!

I have a neighbor friend who lives 2 blocks down on the same street, but on the opposite side. I shined the beam in his direction into the sky from my back yard, and he saw it very clearly from his front yard. :cool: Plus, it popped a black balloon from 20' after about 4 sec. The divergence is great. It smokes almost instantaneously as it hits most dark objects. It burns paper too!
