how to switch red to green laser in TLR2

hy.
i' have a weapon mounted laser / flashlight TLR2
The TLR2 have a RED 5 mw laser and i want to change it with a Green laser.
is somebody already did that ?

Well, it would basicly consist of opening it up and replacing the red laser module with a green laser module.Of course , the green laser module might be more sensitive to shock and get damaged when you fire. :p

i didn't know that green laser are more shok sensitive than red ? Because we can buy green laser for guns now...
Well , for now i must find a green module with exactly the same size than the red.
i think it'll be hard to find.

It's more sensitive to shock because no (affordable) green laser diodes exist. IR light needs to be pumped through crystals, which change the frequency to green. These crystals are easily misaligned, hence them being more sensitive. Good luck with your search.

Green sights are made to be more sturdy than regular pointers and modules I would guess.Some pointers get missaligned crystals even if you drop them , so a high enough recoil or repetition might do the same.
And yes , you're not very likely to find a cheap green module as small as a red one because of the extra space the crystals take.You might have to do further modifications to the unit so the thing will fit. :-/
