How to put IR filter in green laser module?

DVD drives do not have IR filters. Cameras do, although it might just be easier to scrounge eBay or this Forum

I had no idea weather a DvD drive would have one just an idea for him

Makes no difference if its 8 year old,

Iono, I find it's easier to read through one thread, than to have lotsa info spread out over a bunch of threads. Kind of like how it's easier to follow a thread when there aren't a bunch of posts about how old the thread is, and the various virtues and demerits of necroposting ;-) Idea is, the more helpful threads will continue to get bits added on, while the less helpful threads will die out. Or gain many ponies.
