how do you remove this laser module from the housing?

I bought a rayfoss 532nm50mw laser in january. Well it died on me in May. I contacted them and the warranty was out. Its been sitting in my room ever since. I want to replace the module but dont wont to break anything trying to take it out. How exactly do i remove it? Where can i get a 532nm50mw or 100mw module to replace it? Thanks

I saw that, but i'm trying to remove it. If its just pressed in i may be able to tap it out. Hopefully it wont be in too tight.

I would recommend pulling it out. Tapping it out may break the driver into little pieces.
Aside from making a mess, it will make further progress more difficult.

If you have a vice, use it.

If you don't care about saving the old module or driver, just get some vice grips after it and twist/yank it out.
