Hello Everyone,

I just received My 50mW transformable green laser from o-like today that I ordered it on Dec 15th. The laser seems to be dead after a couple minutes of use (not continuous). I tried it out to see how it worked and everything was fine. I took the battery out and put it back in is box, now its getting dark out and I wanted to see how visible it is outside. Long story short, I reinstalled the battery and nothing.

Any suggestions????

Thanks
Matt

Did you put the battery in backwards? o_O
it should be case positive (negative in first)
if not make sure the battery is charged,
Then contact O-like

Matt,
If the battery is fully charged and the positive end is towards the tail cap, and it still isn't working, then contact O-like like Tterbo said. They will most likely allow you to send it back for a replacement but you have to pay shipping. They allowed me to send back my red laser (the one in my signature) after I had it a month before it died.
Return tips:
You do not need to send the battery and charger back with the laser (I asked). This means that you don't have to worry about customs stopping it going in or out and it is cheaper to ship back. Also, if you ask, you can even upgrade to a better laser and can ask them how much the difference would be.
I would also recommend buying a couple different color 5mW pen-style lasers off eBay (with expedited shipping: usually they are only a dollar or 2 more expensive than the cheapest one) while waiting for it to be shipped back. I find that this helps soothe the pain of waiting for a new one to arrive.
One last note: if you are going to get safety glasses, ask O-like if they could send them in the same package as the replacement laser.
Hope this helps.

Just in case, you can contact O-like via their representative Susie on MSN :
o-like@live.cn,

Or add O-like on Skype.

Just use simple english, Susie is not exactly English professor.

Well, the laser needs to go back. Will I have any trouble shipping it back to China?

You shouldn't.
EDIT: Especially if it is dead: it won't output very much anyway so customs would have no reason to take it.
