List of green lasers <$30USD - Suggestions please

Hi

I want to buy a green laser, I have previously had some cheapo red lasers that we modded 10 of them into a pair of gloves for fun. I want to buy a green laser from the internet, budget is under $30USD delivered to New Zealand. I have checked with NZ Customs and we seem to have no restrictions on importing lasers.

I'm not intersted in burning things or popping things. I want a laser with a very visible strong green beam. I would prefer an IR filter for added safety, however it seems that for this price, I will not get an IR filtered laser. The strength is not as important as how visible the beam is. I don't mind a thickish beam if it still shines a long way, eg. beam stream visible up to the clouds at night. I'm lucky because my city has a fair bit of fog at night, so should be a fun toy to play with. Size is not important, infact I'd prefer a bigger unit as it's probably stronger and more likely to have a bigger heatsink. I don't want a laser that will die in a few months.

I've searched the forums and come up with some possibilities and would like your advice, Thanks in advance...

Yup, I've been leaning towards that one too. Where's a good place to get a couple of good 3.7V CR2's and charger?

I notice that it needs 3.7V CR2s, all the other lasers seem to use AAA or C123A's. CR2 3.7V seem to be pretty rare, might be a pain having that laser if you have to have non standard batteries for it?

I would suggest when deciding on your laser try to stay over 30mW or your beam wont be as bright as you want. Aim for 50-75mW and I think you will be more than satisfied.

@cust11 - What would you suggest then, for best bang for buck for very visible green laser beam. I'm also open to buying a module as long as installation is very basic, ie no more than soldering the + and - together. From looking through the websites I however feel that in my price range a complete unit offers better value.
