Welcome to LPF

400mW (With IR filter?) will come with a pretty big price tag.
If this is your first laser I would consider going with a lower powered one
just to start off with ;)

Try O-like.com

ALSO please invest in some proper safety eye wear!

You know that great power brings great responsibility and pair of protective goggles (and they must meet the wave length of laser)? In EU the hi power portable lasers are comparable to weapon.

I believe that's one of their newer lasers and from what I've seen it looks good.
You may find some reviews of the laser in review section on the forum (DUH) lol.
Also please note that this laser is a 405nm (Violet) and not the 445nm (blue) what you've
most likely come across ;)

I love my super beast and super beast 100 cheap nice quality. The only down side is batteries don't last long get some cr123 rechargeable. You can even get them from the same seller.

i believe the 405 you're talking about is the one i have a review of. link is in my signature. the thread you mentioned that i quoted above (as others have already said) is about the super beast green laser.
i would suggest starting off with something like a 50mW-100mW green.
keep in mind that 405nm violet light is not very bright. a green in the power range i mentioned above will be much brighter than the 400mW blu-ray laser.
