I know that the title itself has many meanings.. but i will not gonna ask the actual RIGHT laser question thingy..

i just want your suggestions on choosing a green laser from lazerer.com that have compatible modules and lenses that i can buy. i do have a green laser previously and the lens had damaged and i was looking for the right replacement on ebay but i cant find one, and also, the lens in my laser seems to be permanently attached ...

i just want to buy about 30mW or 50mW green laser from lazerer..

thanks..

btw, im a newbie here..

You wont find many lenses for sale for a green laser. Some are interchangeable, most not. If your laser is low power, than its not worth scraping a new laser to fix it. Green lasers are so cheap now, they are almost throw aways.

but i do watched the video of styropyro, he can replace the module in a laser pen (green),

should i buy the pen type lasers? in that, if the module/lens had damaged again, or drop accidentally, i can easily replace it right? how 'bout that?

First you say you cant find replacement for lens, then you said you can. Maybe its just language problem, but I could not find 1 replacement lens on ebay. green laser module lens | eBay

They do sell lenses that change the beam shape, but I thought you wanted replace for the normal lens. You can buy many modules to replace, but it is not easy to change in a pen laser because they are glued in. If you want easy change module then buy a laser made from a flashlight host.

Like these..

Green Laser Pointer

I own this one...

LZGN - 532nm 100mW Focusable Green Laser Pointer

sorry for confusing you, i just wanted to say that there are plenty of modules and lenses for other wavelengths but in green lasers, seldom...

thanks for the link but thats not the lens what im looking for, its just like this: 445nm Coated Glass Collimating Lens/M9P0.5 Metal Frame | eBay

my laser is focusable and it seems that it has some screw thread..

and inside, sort of epoxy, the manufacturer might customized this, i think i should accept the fact that i will no longer find a replacement, by the way thanks..

You just need to do some reading here. There are three types of lasers. DPSS, Diode, and Gas. Green laser are mostly DPSS. DPSS lasers are very hard to customize because of all the parts in the module to create the green light. Diode lasers are easy because its just one part making the light.
