i want to buy a green or blue-violet laser and want to know how many mW to get to be able to visibly see the beam at say dusk but without being able to burn anything please reply

To see the beam it needs tO be dark.

Any green at least 5mw and don't go higher then 50-70mw if you don't want to burn. But be carefull the green 30mw+ are extremely bright.

Not very feasible. Start with a 5mW green, and go from there.
