Hello, I am newbee at this board.

I would like to ask you what kind of modification has this guy made to the 100mw pen to get it shining so bright. I believe a 100mw doesn't shine so bright from factory, right?

You've been slightly miss informed, it's actually a vacuum sealed, uranium doped kryptonite chamber lined with a phosphorus powder enclosed in a mercury gas kevlar tube.

Back on topic, I'm positive he has smoke in the room, which always makes the laser seem really bright. He may or may not have pot modded it, depending on how low his IQ level is.

I've not had good luck with these lasers. Four of them gave up without any potmodding. Sticking with o-Like and CNI going forward.

It looks brighter than 100mW, but as Asherz said, probably a smoked room. But it does look a bit bright for a DX 100mW even under smoke, so presuming he potmodded it. If so, he probably "turned it up all the way", ('up to 11') - so he can expect maybe 2-3 weeks of use out of it before it becomes a $99 suppository.

make one? A greenie? Just buy a 30mw from dx or o-like and buy a smoke machine. Easiest bright beam.... ever.

You don't even need 30mW, 5 can be really bright and you can play with mirrors safely.
