hello

I wanted to buy the laser o-like and have wanted to pay in sterling but ua time to pay it any wonder there is a $ 169 mistake for his sterling is £ 85.01

£ 85.01 = $ 133.10

so I do not understand someone has to buy from them and has there been the problem?

otherwise I think I take it rayfoss 200 mw and as good as the o-like?

I've never had a problem with o-like.
Rayfoss lasers are occasionally under-spec though. Some of them output most of their power as infrared.

I like these types personally. I got one from Deal Extreme (50mW) and it puts out just about 50mW on my meter. It's also focusable, has a key interlock, an aperture shutter on the front, an "on/off" status light, and has a huge metal head on it as a heatsink. It also feels high quality.

Most?
Not even close. :yabbmad:
Probably no more than 25% IR / 75% 532nm from Rayfoss green lasers.

Uranium - where did you get the idea that "most" (>50%) of the power output from Rayfoss lasers is IR?

So you think I can buy a 200 mw rayfoss safely

I would not have broken or missing and it will be good.

Yes. Rayfoss is a great company, and their lasers are usually good quality. They also offer a 3-month exchange/repair warranty.
If you get this laser: www.rayfoss.com
you will need safety glasses to protect your eyes from Green and InfraRed laser light:

I bought a laser from them 7 months ago and it was crap. I managed to get a full refund though.

hello

this does not help me if you contradict all.

are what everyone and agree on a point about the laser?

I have called you because I do not understand anything I just know the laser power (200mW) because in addition to her it may be that the green laser is 30% and 70% IR

So that's why I need you with your knowledge and your expertise to help guide me to my choice.

again sorry for the google translation is I'm French and I speak very badly English

Thank you for your understanding.

Oh. It was crap? Did you actually measure the percentage of IR vs. Green from your crap laser?

Good.
Either get this one: 200mW transformable green laser/adjustable [OLV6200] - $165.00 : Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products
or this one: www.rayfoss.com
... or, if you are looking for high-quality: Spartan Series 200mW Green Handheld Laser :: Green Handheld Laser --- 532nm Laser ----- Spartan Series Lasers :: Handheld Lasers :: Dragon Lasers

No measuring, but it was only as bright as 20mw green, and at night with an ir-pass filter on it, a faint red dot could be seen on a wall 5 feet away. It was supposed to be a 100mw green.

Hello everyone

I request rayfoss and o-like IR and the percentage of rayfoss my reply was:

The power output is in. cette lase 195mw-225MW. The ratio of green laser is more Than 85%. If you needed we could "pre-install the IR filter lens inside in charge free. After the IR power output 175mw-200mw Is Around.

but I do not understand what he mean when he talks about what it has IR filter is used for laser and why when you install it you lose power?

and o-like I said between 10 and 20% IR

Thank you for your information

Well, to understand why an IR filter is necessary, you have to first understand how a green laser is constructed.
As the diagram here indicates:
glpmca1.gif

Since there are no commercially available Green Laser diodes available at high-powers yet. An infrared Laser diode is used to create Infrared Laser Light which is passed through 2 crystals to convert it to Green light. during this process not all of the Infrared laser light is converted to green and so without an IR filer on your laser, the power measurement is a measurement of the combined Green and IR light.
If an IR filter is used, most of the IR light is blocked, so the power measured is only for the Green laser light.
