Ahh much better. You said only $100? Wow, that's tempting. I was looking at the 532nm from laserbtb but it's $170 for 300mw.

Definitely one of the only times ebay & btb are true both good decisions! But man the duty cycle on this thing blows my mind. Btb's PL's are reliable but the HL's i question. My 50mW 520nm HL is suppose to be 10 min & gets warm after one. Doesn't even hit the full 50mW either. Still good company though! But man the battery on this ebay one... Granite I'm using a Nitecore, but it'll still last like 2 or 3 days with constant use. And it's true APC. It'll go from a beam like you see in the pics to completely shut off when the battery is ready to charge.

Interesting stuff. Looks like the one on gearbest as others have said. I just wish there was some way to know the power for sure.

I have the one from gear best on the way right now. When it gets here I will measure it on my Hyperion Cuprum and see how strong it is.

EBay seller says 400mw guaranteed and module only for 85$ shipped... if it's any quality and still has decent output after you install an IR filter then it's worth it.

I would like to know how well the beam is centered and aligned. It takes star caps so it should accept a 3x BE.
Edit: I noticed the specs say it takes 2 lipo cells. Can someone explain why?

Did you meter it?? I just bought a similar one from gear best and I'm wondering if they will be the same thing. Exact same host and everything

Which one did you buy off gear best? This one? : 5mw 450nm 16340 Laser Pointer Pen Pack-133.37 Online Shopping| GearBest.com

$133, looks like the one He posted, but they say its only 5mW, which i doubt for the price

Just realized that one says 450nm, and all their lasers say 5mw. guess its just a gamble to see what you get. Looks like they are having a huge black friday sale, all laser 60% or more off. hmm

I don't have official measurement tools, but i would say the beam comes out pretty straight! I've had 520's and 532's with beams that were noticeably crooked. This laser though seems super straight :)

I can promise you i use one 18650 cell in this laser and get enough power to light a white match at infinity. Mayhaps two 16340 cells will make it a 1.5 watt! Lolol jk

Well, I guess that's the end of this laser. EBay listing ended on the 29th and the ending price was $140. It seems the seller hasn't re listed it which is not too surprising. Sometimes great deals like this show up, but they don't last too long from what I've seen. After spending some money on a "150mW" 532 from XPL that lasted only one week I'd be hesitant to purchase a laser that output 400mW for around $100.

Can't blame you at all! Don't get me wrong i didn't spend the money with worries i was gonna get complete junk, but i figured it would have either been much weaker or stop working after a few days. Boy did i get lucky!

Hey sorry for coming back to an old thread, but I was wondering how that gear best green laser ended up working out for ya?? Mines still going strong as day one!
