hmm well i was really looking to spend a little less than that (for a 50), how visible is the beam from a 30mw?

There really isn't that much difference between 50mW and 30mW. They both do the same things, and the 50mW is just a tad bit brighter. Both beams are very visible at night, and in dimly lit rooms. If you go with anything cheaper, you'll probably just end up with 30mW or less anyway in the end...

but you think the one from budget gadgets will be better than the one from priceangels?

Pen-style are small and compact and fit in your top pocket. Torch-style you have to put in your trouser pocket, but they have better heatsinking and can be kept on for longer.

I seen the picture in an email someone sent me, And what it mean is the middle east is in the deep s*** area of the globe. And since I lost two family members fighting in the wars over there. I like to show my support for our troops that seem to be going every where now. Thanks to wonderful President. NOT!!!!

Yeah, it seems like you've already assumed that position too! It's just a thread, so anyone can help, it just seems that a lot of the questions are directed at me so I try to get to them ASAP. Even though I forget sometimes. :p

When I sign into LPF the first thing I do is check my subscriptions, so if someone's posted in here I see what it says. The issue would be if we disagreed on the answer to one of those controversial questions that came up we'd give 2 conflicting answers and the unfortunate reader would wind up more confused. Haha...
