Green laser pointer stoped emitting.

Hello. I am new to these things, but i saw a green laser pointer and i wanted one for myself, so i bought this 2 in1 Laser pointer pen,1 MW powerful green laser pointer,star cap,key chain | eBay.
After a couple of days, i changed the battery and it started emitting a faded red light instead of the green beam. I changed like 20 batteries and with a few of them the light turned into green, but very faded, no visible beam or anything, just a very small dot on the wall.
Is there anything i can do to make it work?

The best thing to do probably is buy a new one.

Oh, and that faint red light, DON'T LOOK AT IT. It's very dangerous and you WILL be blinded.

I didn't look in the faint red light, i know it is laser light, but infra red, and more powerful than the green beam itself. So nothing can be done to make it work? Cos it's kind of expensive for me...a day's work.

Sorry to hear that. You can't do much about it. There are no serviceable parts inside the small lasers. And even if you could, the parts costs probably more than a whole new laser.
