Which Green Laser to buy?

Hi All,

I've been looking around the net (and a lot around this forum, specially) for recommendations of a good and cheap green laser. More specifically, my requirements are:

* The "beam" should be as visible as possibe, as this is going to be used for demonstrations.
* Low or no IR emissions (READ: Low risk of accidentally frying someone's eyes)
* Low cost

From what I've read, it looks like a laser in the 5-30mW would do the trick, and DX seems to be a good source for the "Low cost" criteria...

The question is, which one to buy?

The price difference between the 5mW and the 10mW is very small, so the 10mW would be a natural choice (unless it's much riskier to the eyes). I've seen a lot of people complain about the 30mW lasers (the "dim" problem).

After some searching, I narrowed down my choice to three lasers:

* dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.7116 - The DX "Professional" 10mW laser pointer. Seems well built, but uses the more expensive CR2 batteries (could be a good thing, as I believe these lasers draw a lot of power).

* dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.938 - The DX "True 10 mW laser". Seems like a good choice, but using AAA batteries. The "Professional" laser above seems to have better construction, but I wonder what's best: AAA or CR2.

* dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.1257 - DX's "True 20mW laser". Seems a bit of an overkill, but it's the same price as the "Pro" version of the 10mW laser. I wonder if IR (and risk) won't start becoming a problem. I would prefer this one if the construction is of similar quality and risk is not so much of a concern.

So, which one would you recommend?

PS: Sorry for the "broken" links. The forum does not want me posting links for some reason...

Thanks
