Well, I had the Crown Upgrade 500mW from O-like.com and I have to
admit it was a hell of a laser :dev:
It peaked at 720mW once....:beer:

I've been in touch with Max regarding this model. It's not that it's out of stock, it's that the modules received for these, did not pass lazerer QA process. I have a standing order for one of these, and will post a review as soon as I get one.

It is promising, because the module is much better heatsinked, versus the other similar model lasers out there, like the crown, and stick.

I would NEVER release such a beast! But that's probably because im a newbie to this world of lasers. All I have left is a broken 200mW rendered useless and a working modded 5mW green:lasergun:

You can ask jayrob for a 500mW+ 532nm laser in any host with the right dimensions for less than $700. Not so sure what lazerer's costs since that site's blocked where I am now...

Heh, not many things come by easy these days, the one I bought cost about $650 and puts out about 675mW. Plus it is in a hard-to-design host.

Edit: And I was talking complete unit :p

Short duty cycle, but a 500mw for $319.00 is relatively low cost---if you get a good one is well worth the momey

Going to be a while... lazerer has no eta on when the 500mW will be in stock. The ones they do have in stock are lower powered.
