Green Flash at Sunset

Below are pictures I took tonight at sunset with my 178mw Optotronics Pen laser.

All photos are untouched originals taken from my handheld Nikon Coolpix L18 camera. No flash just green goo at about 8:40 - 9:20PM EST sunset at 9:05.

I thought you had actually captured it on video. Saw it once, on a boat, in The Sea of Cortez.

these lasers are strong buggers.
i took mine out when the sun went down (but it was still bright) and i could see the beam clearly.
very nice lasers
mine is rated at 164mW average output, how did u get a 178mW unit?

I seen the flash of green as the sun sets

. Ft Myers Fl. Of course that was the only thing I remember about that night...:beer:

Perhaps it was simply the "flash" of an hallucinogenic ? :na:

Check Youtube, you can find several videos that have captured the green flash. I hope to someday see this in person
