There is few layers of electrical tape for prevent short circuit the battery. Lenght is 69.5mm diameter is 26.2mm

I recomend to check batteries dimensions from AkkuTeile. I have found there is most truthful battery dimensions so far.

"I just confirmed it with our mechanical engineer and he said the limit for the 26650 diameter is 26.8mm."
According to the German site link you posted, the Keeppower protected 26650 will fit. It has a 26.6mm diameter.

It's not so simple. If you look at Arcticdudes photo of the diameter you'll see it's under the 26.8mm measurement. I count it to be a 24mm diameter. That ain't a problem. This site https://www.akkuteile.de/ lists them at 26.8mm diameter. Still to big. It seems Keeppower is inconsistent with there diameters. It's a shame because this battery gets high marks. I guess it's Efest.

That's a shame. You'd think they would get together on the battery's dimensions. I wounder if they are all the same company, or are some counterfeits getting away with using their name.

I know that the diameter dimension listed said 26.98mm not what it says now 26.4mm. It's what I cut and pasted from the site and posted earlier in the thread. Must have been a typo that he corrected after our email exchange. Well this battery will fit after all.
