hi

i am new here and i am very interested in laser technology and i received my first laser pointer today

but i had a question... can i add an extra battery like this one

i want to do that because its not very bright (i cant see the laser only the dot)

You could, but you could easily break the laser

hi thanks for the reaction

i am back from "testing" my new laser to see how bright the beam was but almost no beam. can the beam go any brighter if i add an extra battery?

edit: how much miliwatts have my laser if i scarcely see a beam i dark foggy weather

Probably less than 5mW, however be very careful of IR leaking from the aperture. The beam should become brighter if you add an extra battery, however it is likely that you will destroy the laser
