I came across an article about the work towards creation of a true "green" Laser Diode! (along with some very interesting info about advanced Blue-Ray designs and other things as well!)
As this article covers multiple areas of interest here at LPF, I have posted the details in the Experimenter's section, but wanted to give the folks that frequent the Green Lasers section a heads-up, as such a device could make the inefficient & finicky DPSS "greenie" go the way of the dodo!
