Both are great and reliable companies to buy from. Personally, I would go with dragon lasers for a green star pointer. And 55mW will be very bright and easy to see.
Also, you will not need glasses for any portable laser when you are only using it for star pointing.
If you wanted a bigger and slightly more durable host than a pen laser, you may want to check out Laserbtb/Skylasers. They are also a good company to buy from and even come with key switches and extra safety measures. Just be sure to only buy their LFP, HL, PL and waterproof models. And avoid their pen style LP models as they are made of plastic and tend to break sometimes.

Hope this helps!

Edit: Many users here own lasers from companies like Laserbtb/Skylasers, Dragonlasers and Laserglow and you can find reviews on them all over.
