First green laser.

After a while of browsing websites and forums I settled on 200mW transformable green laser/adjustable [OLV6200] - $165.00 : Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products.
The thing that worries me is there is no IR filter on it, so I was hoping someone could help me understand how to install one. or some safety glasses that filter 532nm to IR wavelengths, or what risks there are just using 532nm glasses, any input is much appreciated, thanks.

You can get IR filters from ebay, and by doing a google search. Just glue/tape it over the aperture of the laser.

Buy 532nm OD 4 or better rated glasses.

IR isnt THAT big of a deal, as long as your smart and carefull with the laser, IR comes out in a 'cone' shape surrounding the beam, and can be rather powerfull with higher rated lasers, if the laser is up to spec, atleast 50mW of it will be IR....
