Now we're talking....

Is the extra 100 bucks worth it for the X125 over the X105???

I can only imagine what the Actual specs are for the X125..but they must be awesome..
My only problem would be..can it HOLD that kind of power for more than a few seconds before dropping like a ROCK.

I'm ordering Monday morning....and at this time plan on an X105..

But I just can't stop looking at that X125!!!

Of course that extra 100 bucks is going to get me hit in the side of the head with a FRYING pan from my Lovely Bride..

But a Man's gotta do what a Man's gotta do!

Oh and since I have your attention...for 25 bucks..how is TNT shipping????

I was going to spend the 60.00 bucks for FedEx Overnight...but If TNT really gets it here in 2-3 days..it makes that X125 easier to pay for!!!

THanks!!

I just got my x105 and according to the box it has 124mW peak output and 113mW average output. I don't know if I could sway you away from the x125, or if I would want to, but in my opinion the x105 is amazing, and I don't think the extra 20mW is worth 100 bucks (don't get me wrong, I would love an x125, but I don't have the money for an extra few mW). In terms of shipping, it was free for the x105 if I took airmail (no tracking). I really would have liked the tracking seeing as how I was really anxious. I ordered the laser on a late Friday evening, and I got it today (Saturday) 8 days later. I can't put it down, and I couldn't wait for it to get dark to really see it in action. It will blow your mind. In my opinion get goggles with it, I didn't and now I will have to order a pair and hold off on some of the more "dangerous" experiments. It is extremely bright, and I don't want to hurt my eyes. If you plan on using it for more than stargazing I would recommend goggles.

Hope I didn't ramble,
Bryan

Have fun =)

I got my X105 in 5 days from ordering it so If you are willing to spend $60 extra on shipping, I say spend 40 more and take the free shipping, the extra 20 mW should do burning faster.

its $100 to satisfy your curiosity
i recently bought another 125mW average output CNI from Pseudo
im not sure about the difference from x105 and x125
but my last Pseudo 125mW compared with a Viper 95mW
there is such a big difference in burning ability, it's definitely worth the extra $100 or so
one takes a few seconds to light a match up close, one lights instantly up to a few feet

Well..I ordered the X105...

I'm kinda sick of ducking low flying frying pans around the house!

Tom Petty was right....."Oh the waiting is the hardest part".

That was probably wise since the x125 is currently out of stock, and they are very rarely in stock. Not to mention the fact that the x105 probably specs higher than a 125mW laser you would get from anywhere else. Mine came in at 119mW peak and 113mW average. Since CNIs only come in flavors up to 80mW, and Nova tests every one before it leaves their warehouse, they ship very few x-series at 125mW. Other places that aren't as rigorous will ship out <125mW units with 125mW stickers.
